Hi This is

Virgil-Amber Bloemhard

Road Racer

Hi everyone!

My passion for racing was ignited at a young age, greatly influenced by my father, who was an accomplished rider. He competed in various classes, including the 24 Hours and the Suzuki 750 class, and achieved the title of Dutch champion in 1989. That same year, he also participated in the Suzuki 750 World Finals held in Jerez, Spain. I began my own racing journey at the age of 17 in 2003, competing in the Junior Stock 600 class.
Over the years, I progressed to the Supersport and Superbike categories, ultimately finding my niche in Superbikes, which aligned perfectly with my riding style. I actively raced until 2013 when financial constraints forced me to pause my career. In 2019, I made a comeback with Performance Racing Achterhoek in the IRRC championship.

In addition to racing, I have always had a strong passion for sports. During my childhood, I participated in various activities, including tennis, soccer, baseball, basketball, and multiple forms of martial arts. Basketball has been a significant part of my life for 23 years; it remains the sport that keeps me active and fit throughout the year. Recently, I have also taken up mountain biking to enhance my mental acuity.

Beyond sports, I enjoy spending time in nature to rejuvenate my mind, as well as traveling and listening to music.

My weekends often involve watching movies and television series. Some of my favorites include:

**Series:** Arrow, Prison Break, The Big Bang Theory.
**Movies:** Space Jam, the Iron Man series, and Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon.
